Marketing Assistant (Kickstarter scheme only)

PayDashboard is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support a busy team of three. We are only accepting candidates through the DWP Kickstart Scheme, and applicants will need to currently be receiving Universal Credit to qualify.


This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to start or further their marketing career as Marketing Assistant and experience a wide variety of marketing tasks and campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will support a team of three people to deliver marketing activity across two very different product lines and a diverse range of marketing tactics. You will also get a great insight into how marketing underpins and supports the wider business – from development to sales, operations to partnerships.

This role is split between home and the office (Monument, London - EC3M 1JP) to benefit from a collaborative working environment with colleagues. We will consider support with travel costs as appropriate.

Experience in a marketing or administration role is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided. What is more important is someone who fits the person profile, has a good attitude, is willing to learn and brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm every day!


English GCSE (Pass Grade 9 – 4)

Good standard of written English


25 Hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm. We are flexible as to how the 25 hours a week are worked and happy to agree a suitable schedule with the successful candidate.


National minimum wage


The candidate will report to the Head of Marketing and will be fully trained, with weekly 1-2-1 and monthly performance reviews included. They will be given the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other teams within the business.

The candidate will receive guidance to help them gain long term employment, such as; career advice, support with CV writing and interview techniques. This would be delivered by a designated supervisor. In additional, a portfolio of formal training courses via Virtual College will be made available, with certificates issued for successful competition of modules.

The candidate will have access to a supervisor throughout the placement and can raise any questions or queries they may have to aid their development and help them become more employable.
